ESAA CHAMPS' - BIRMINGHAM

west midlands finished a galant 6th with a number of succesful medal winning performances aswell as winning the inter girls overall trophy. a number of athletes were also selected for the international meeting in northern ireland the following weekend. well done to everyone for a fantastic wekend in birmingham.

RELAY TRAINING

west midlands has one of the proudest relay records of the entire english schools championships, with a number of past and current championship records! in order to maintain this high level of achievement it is imperative those athletes selected for the relay teams train together to become the best that they can. to ensure this, the team managers hold a number of relay coaching sessions which it is vital those selected athletes attend.

following much deliberation the team has now been selected for the english schools championships in birmingham. well done to all those who made selection. the team list will be updated on the site in due course.

MASON TROPHY

congratulations to all of the athletes who represented the 'westmids,best kids' at the mason trophy at the alexander stadium. not only did the wmbk take the overall title but, all three age groups were victorious and all four relay teams making it a clean sweep for the west midlands!

this certainly bodes well for the upcoming esaa championships!
